Meet the Cast of Self Storage

Julie Mann (“Dana”/Writer/Producer) is a transplant from Chicago where she’s worked at the Goodman Theatre and at the Steppenwolf Theatre Garage.  She has also worked at both the NYC Fringe and Williamstown Theatre Festivals.  Her Los Angeles theatrical credits include the Fox TV/Naked Angels Theatre collaboration No LeGroom, the Matrix Theatre Company’s Dealing With Clair, and Bus Stop.  Julie’s been in the LA Improv comedy scene at both the UCB and IO West theaters.  She has acted in a number of AFI films, Indie films and new media projects as well as written for Style TV’s “The Dish” for a season.  Other than commercials that you may or may not have forwarded through, her television appearances include Numb3rs, Judging Amy, The Soup, and as a series regular for the ill-fated pilot The Brandon T. Jackson Show.

Kimberly Trew (“Shoshanna”/Producer/Writer) is a New Jersey native who started out in musicals and eventually made her way out to Los Angeles, earning a Theatre degree from Loyola Marymount University. Kimberly has appeared in several films, including National Lampoon’s Lost Reality. She also has performed with several theatre companies in the L.A. area, including Native Voices at the Autry and Towne Street Theatre. However, Self Storage quickly has become Kimberly’s all-time favorite project due to the astounding talent and generosity of the crew and cast.

Ouzo (“Dreamy”) is a canine model/actress. Although she has done print work, Self Storage is her first acting credit. A rescue dog herself, Ouzo identifies with the theme of finding a home. After being found on the streets of Denver several years ago, she now resides in Beverly Hills and enjoys regular grooming sessions in her free time.

Eddie Jemison (“Norman”) is known for his roles in the Ocean’s Eleven trilogy and the television series Hung. Jemison is a veteran of the Chicago theatre scene. His stage credits include The Wizards of Quiz at the National Jewish Theatre; Only Kidding at the Wisdom Bridge Theatre; Loot at Tulane Repertory; A Christmas Carol at the Goodman Theatre; Talking to Myself and Holiday Memories at the Northlight Theatre; and T Bone N Weasel at Victory Gardens. Jemison also performed in The Two Gentlemen of Verona and As You Like It at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater.

Dave Holmes (“Chad”) is a Missouri born actor who has starred on Reno 911 and Fantastic Four.  He was a host for several TV series including, Fire Me … Please!, Kidnapped and Spankin’ New Music. Holmes has appeared in several short titles including, Promotion, You Owe Us and Pillowfighter.

Gian Molina (“Rafael”) is an actor, musician, and improviser born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.  He joined Ultimate Improv while still in high school and has been teaching and performing there for 5 years. He is currently performing with Roberto Alomar, who has a weekly show on the IO West Mainstage, and is coached by Billy Merritt. Gian also is a co-founder of the Sunday Sunday Sunday Show and the Off the Cuff Podcast, which can be found on Dublab.com. Some TV credits include G4′s Attack of the Show, Weeds, and recently Reno 911.
